UKROBORONPROM DETERMINED LINE OF COOPERATION WITH UK DEFENSE SOLUTION CENTER

The delegation of the State Concern "UkrOboronProm," headed by Director General Roman Romanov, visited the UK Defense Solution Center and –  according to results of negotiations with British specialists – identified the directions for future cooperation. Particular attention was paid to electronic warfare and discussed the possibilities of production of the given equipment. The meeting in the framework of participation of the Ukrainian delegation in DSEI 2017 Defense Expo, held from 12 to 15 September in the capital of the United Kingdom.

"The organization we visited is one of the partners of the"Defense Growth Partnership" program, uniting the Government, industry, British defense industry academic institutions and collaborating with companies in the world arena. Having positive experience of working with both UK and other companies of the NATO countrie, we are willing to engage the Ukrainian defense industry and its integration in international projects," said UOP Deputy Director General for Development Artur Kheruvymov.

UKDSC is engaged in the analysis of foreign markets and the identification of potential areas of cooperation, and its purpose is development of the country’s competencies by searching new models of innovative projects financing. The Ukrainian defense industrial complex took part in the development of a modern tank for Polish military equipment modernization. The latest PT-17 tank – T-72 modernization by Ukrainian and Polish specialists – was represented at the international defense industry exhibition MSPO-2017 last week. This product proves a new level of Ukrainian defense industry and its compliance with international standards.
