SC "UkrOboronProm" management discussed with the military attachés – representatives of the Kyiv Association of Military Attachés – experience of managing defense industry association under the hybrid war, and presented UOP 2017 results. The meeting took place in the UOP headquarters; representatives of 22 partner countries, as well as EU and NATO delegates, attended the meeting.

The UOP management focused on familiarizing partners with the state of reform of the SC "UkrOboronProm". In particular, UOP Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Activity Denys Gurak noted that the reforms currently being carried out in the field of defense industry of Ukraine are designed to maximally integrate Ukrainian experience in effective cooperation with foreign companies in accordance with modern international standards, which is especially important under conditions of Russian aggression in the East of Ukraine .

In order to deepen ties and increase the range of foreign partners, the event was held in the framework of cooperation deepening with representatives of Kyiv Association of Military Attachés, foreign diplomatic missions and missions in Ukraine. In turn, Kyiv Association of Military Attachés President, on behalf of the foreign military attachés, thanked for organizing the meeting and noted that even during the ongoing war, UKROBORONPROM continues to ensure the effective operation of the defense-industrial complex, timely delivery of the necessary military equipment, ammunition to the Ukrainian army and constantly increasing defense capability of the Armed Forces Of Ukraine.

The SC"UkrOboronProm" deepens cooperation with NATO to deploy joint projects and accelerate the transition of domestic enterprises – UOP enterprises-participants – to manufacture products in accordance with NATO standards.

UOP enterprises-participants are actively implementing international working standards – Quality control system ISO 9001 is already working at 70% of UOP enterprises and quality assurance AQAP (Allied Quality Assurance Publications) 2000 series – is being implemented. 40 UOP enterprises-participants have access to NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics. This tool will allow domestic enterprises of the defense sector entering the international market of armaments and keep implementing import substitution program. Working with NATO Master Catalogue helped UKROBORONPROM to quickly find European suppliers, replacing the Russian ones, becoming the important aspect of Ukraine’s opposition in the hybrid war.
