The director of the state enterprise "Kharkiv Plant of Transport Machinery" Fedir Petrov was dismissed for non-compliance with terms of the contract, such a decision was made today, March 26, by Director General of the SC "UkrOboronProm" Pavlo Bukin.

In early 2017, UKROBORONPROM appealed to the Military Prosecutor’s Office with information on identified violations in financial and economic activities of the enterprise, headed by Fedir Petrov. Materials, related to the unlawful transfer of funds to third party accounts and the misuse of enterprise funds, were transferred to law enforcement agencies.

On the basis of information, provided by the State Concern, the Military Prosecutor’s Office filed a criminal prosecution and filed a lawsuit and – in order to return the unreasonably transferred funds – registered a claim in the Economic Court, representing the State Concern interests.

In turn, Fedir Petrov offered the prosecutor of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Mykolaivskyi garrison 60 thousand UAH to close the criminal proceeding. During his attempt to bribe the official on March 25 Fedir Petrov was detained by the employees of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Southern Region of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine.

UKROBORONPROM thanks law enforcers for their effective work and hopes for a fair trial.
