Due to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the SC "UkrOboronProm" (UOP) will accelerate the aviation cluster reform and will corporatize two leading companies: SE "Antonov" and SE "Plant 410 of Civil Aviation".

Corporatization of the military-industrial complex enterprises is one of the stages of strategic reform, launched by the SC "UkrOboronProm" in autumn 2016. Due to operational decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, UOP will begin the transition to the modern western business management systems, reorganizing the enterprises into public joint stock companies with 100% of shares, owned by the state.

Reorganization opens the way for Ukrainian and foreign partners, which will have a clear set of investing rules, generally accepted in the world. This will enhance production, equipment modernization, research activities, new promising projects. It should be noted that such global aircraft giants like Boeing, Airbus and Lockheed Martin, are joint-stock companies.

Under the reform plans, UOP SE "Antonov" and SE "Plant 410 of Civil Aviation" will undergo a complex inventory and assessment process, which will be performed by the reputable companies, selected by open tendering. After that 100% of the shares will be released and transferred to the state.

SE "Antonov" and Turkish company "Aselsan" signed the Memorandum of Understanding at the international exhibition IDEF-2017.
