UKROBORONPROM SE "Kyiv Armored Plant" completed 2017 having fulfilled the State Defense Order, according to which the Ukrainian Army received new BTR-3DAs, repaired T-72 tanks, and other armored vehicles.

In 2017, 100+ units of new, upgraded and restored armored vehicles and other weapons left workshops of Kyiv Armored Plant.

These and other plant activities allowed to get  503 million UAH of net income and pay to the budgets of all levels 80 mln UAH taxes and payments in 2017. For comparison, in 2014, net sales revenue amounted to about 287 million UAH .

This pace of work was achieved thanks to new modern assembly and welding capacities. As a result, the plant managed to fundamentally increase the production rate, reduce costs and lay the new technological potential of the enterprise.

During the year, Kyiv Armored Plant completed work on restoration of the main T-72AB tanks, enhanced with a dynamic protection "Contact", as in T-64BV model. This dynamic protection arrangement has a significantly higher efficiency compared to the standard T-72.

In 2017, Kyiv Armored Plant specialists performed repair works directly in the ATO zone: in field conditions the armored vehicles – damaged in battles – were restored.

 During this year, plant mobile repair teams repaired about fifty units of the military equipment and received diplomas and thanks from the military.
