MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES PERSONALLY CHECKED THE QUALITY OF BMP-1AK IFVs DELIVERED IN THE FRAMEWORK OF MTC BETWEEN UKRAINE AND POLAND

The journalists had a chance to acquaint themselves with the BMP-1AK IFVs, delivered within the framework of military-technical cooperation (MTC) between Ukraine and Poland.

During the 2nd press tour to one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – attended by several dozen media representatives – journalists watched IFV crews’ firing exercises and had a chance to take a ride in IFVs.

According to the military, the BMP-1AK has minimal mileage and gun barrel wear. In the last month, the vehicles traveled more than a hundred thousand kilometers and had about two dozen firing exercises. Despite such active operation, there were no complaints or technical malfunctions during this time.

This is the second press tour already, held by UKROBORONPROM, together with the Ministry of Defense, during which Ukrainian journalists could independently check the quality of the vehicles. At the same time, the journalists of "Novoye Vremya" ignored these offers and published no material to refute their own manipulative publication.
