UOP MODERN CONTROL SYSTEMS AND DRONES WILL ENHANCE BORDER OBSERVATION

Observation depth – up to 40 kilometers, radar and optical-electronic observation of surface, air and ground targets, online analysis and prompt notification of the threat – these are the characteristics of the latest complex of early detection, prevention and identification "AEROS", which will finally solve the problem of the most dangerous section of the border in the Azov Sea near Mariupol (Donetsk region).

The day before the New Year, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko transferred the given complex, as well as18 UAVs – manufactured by SC "UkrOboronProm" – to the frontiersmen.

Supplying the frontiersmen with the given military equipment is the first stage of cooperation between SC "UkrOboronProm" and American company "Aeroscraft". The second stage is manufacture of these complexes in Ukraine, using the spares that will be delivered from America. And the third stage is the maximum production localization and technology transfer. All of these will take place on the technical basis of the State Concern "UkrOboronProm."

"There are several key points that are very important to us. First, this is technology transfer from the United States, which is a sign of trust and recognition of our professionalism. Secondly, this is a real project, implemented, as they say, "from scratch" and in the shortest possible time. This is our answer to all “couch” experts who do nothing except populist statements, "- said UOP Deputy Director General for Aircraft Industry and Operations Volodymyr Korobov.

According to American company, observation system became the first project to be followed by other projects.

"We are satisfied with cooperation with our Ukrainian partners. We have already implemented similar projects in many countries, but this is the first time our partner coped with this problem so quickly and so effectively,"- said "Aeroscraft " founder Igor Pasternak.

The SC “UkrOboronProm” actively cooperates with companies from NATO-countries and mplements international standards at UOP enterprises. 70% of UOP enterprises-participants are certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and system of quality assurance AQAP 2000 is implemented at UOP enterprises. For the first time this year UKROBORONPROM opened “Day of Defense Industry of Ukraine” at NATO Headquarters (Brussels, Belgium) in the framework of Ukraine-NATO cooperation.
