The State Concern "UkrOboronProm" intends to create Defense and Security Training Center, in cooperation with all interested security and defense agencies of Ukraine, where a variety of specialized training programs for Ukrainian experts in the given field will be held on a permanent basis with NATO assistance. This was stated by Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Activity Denys Gurak at the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Defense and Technical Cooperation.

"Such an initiative will ensure training of qualified specialists who will be able to reform the defense sector of Ukraine – taking into account the best world trends – to implement NATO quality management standards at enterprises, to join existing NATO programs, to launch joint projects with NATO member states and much more", – noted Denys Gurak.

He added that individual curricula may also include the involvement of profile ministries, departments and government agencies.

"UkrOboronProm" implements reform strategy, covering clear, consistent steps: corporatization, audit, clusterization, integrated actions for technology protection and the launch of the Main Agency for Advanced Research and Development (GARDA). The work is carried out simultaneously in the legal, technological and production areas, allowing to integrateUkraine’s defense complex into the world community, ensuring its reliable and high-tech work.
