The State Concern "UkrOboronProm" represents its products and its new projects in NATO HQ (Brussels, Belgium). The State Concern delegation is headed by UKROBORONPROM (UOP) Director General Roman Romanov.

"Today the Concern focuses on European markets and cooperation with NATO – we are developing in this direction. This is precisely why we represented the Reform strategy of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine to the world community, in the frameworks of the largest international forum AUSA 2016 in October this year", – said Roman Romanov.

According to him, the main goal of the reform – the integration of Ukrainian defense industry to the global arms market.

The event will be attended by representatives of the domestic private sector of defense industry, as well as by specialists of ministries and departments of the state. This powerful representation of Ukraine in NATO headquarters is the evidence of national interest and national development strategy.

UOP enterprises-participants have experience in implementation of joint projects with EU countries; enterprises of the State Concern participated in the Smart Defence Project "Harbour Protection," have experience in working with logistic structures of the Alliance.

The SC “UkrOboronProm” has already represented a reform strategy of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine. The reform covers clear sequential steps: corporatization, audit, clusterization, technology protection and launching innovation platform.

UKROBORONPROM holds a course for transition to high-tech manufacturing in accordance with international standards and NATO normative documents, this is precisely why the Concern has issues to discuss within the walls of the Alliance HQ.

In addition to the reform strategy and vision of UOP future, Ukrainian delegation will represent its products – – best samples of 5 UOP clusters: aircraft, armored vehicles, shipbuilding, high-precision weapons, radar and communications.

In June 2016 Ukraine and NATO held a joint seminar, discussing the transformation of the national defense industry and the possibility of Ukraine-NATO cooperation. The event was attended by the delegation of the NATO International Secretariat, representatives of "UkrOboronProm," the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and local authorities.
