The enormous scientific and technical potential of the State Concern "UkrOboronProm" should be used in other areas of economy. This was stated by UKROBORONPROM Director General Roman Romanov at the meeting with the head of Ukrainian Agricultural Council Andriy Dykun. As an example of effective use of military technology for peaceful purposes Roman Romanov cited drones that can monitor soil fertility and overall condition of the fields.
"Military technologies are traditionally at the forefront of progress, enriched each year with modern inventions. Using military technologies in other Ukrainian economic sectors contributes to competitiveness of Ukrainian business in world markets. This is an example of synergy and synthetic solutions we are implementing in "UkrOboronProm" at the level of management standards,"- said Roman Romanov.

In turn, Andriy Dykun added that agricultural sector ensures food security of the state.
Following the meeting the parties agreed to establish a joint working group on the use of UKROBORONPROM technology and equipment in the agricultural sector. Appropriate cooperation will give a powerful impetus for further development of both sectors.
