In the frameworks of a major international defense industry exhibition MSPO-2016 in the city of Kielce, Poland the meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and the SC "UkrOboronProm" was held.
During the meeting, Undersecretary of State for Security Marek Ziółkowski attended demonstration booth of Ukrainian military–industrial complex representatives and met with Director General of the SC"UkrOboronProm" Roman Romanov.
During the meeting, Marek Ziółkowski noted high productivity and high level of cooperation development, established shortly between the defense industry of Ukraine and Poland. He also mentioned that Poland is interested and open to further development in this direction.
"Now defense complexes of Poland and Ukraine are strengthening fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation on a range of projects. WB Electronics, Lubawa SA and other Polish companies -together with UKROBORONPROM enterprises – join for manufacture of advanced technology projects. This means that armament – manufactured in cooperation with Polish side – is already increasing and will continue to increase the defence capabilities of Ukraine and Poland", – said the head of the State Concern Roman Romanov after the meeting.
It should be noted that on the first day of MSPO-2016 SC "UkrOboronProm" held successful negotiations with WB Electronics on development of existing projects and opening of the new areas of collaboration.
UKROBORONPROM is developing within the frameworks of the strategy “Ukrainian shield,” focused on high-tech production, transition to international standards (NATO) and supplying the army with modern types of armaments. The State Concern extends cooperation with NATO and EU member countries, as defined by the strategic course of the state.
MSPO 2016 is the largest defence industry exhibition in Poland and Central Europe. This forum unites potential buyers and suppliers; this is the showcase for military equipment, technologies and products; a platform for display of the customers’ needs and requirements.
