UKROBORONPROM needs qualified modern managers, able to bring qualitative changes in the short term. The State Concern can not afford attracting world-class professionals, whose salary reaches 5-10 thousand USD, and that is why – on a voluntary basis – is sending its managers for training in various business schools. This was stated by UKROBORONPROM Deputy Director General for Development Arthur Heruvimov during his interview on the radio.
"Today, leading business schools of Ukraine joined this process: International Management Institute and Kyiv Mohyla Business School. Leading business schools – together with UOP – are build, on voluntary basis, the system, allowing UOP enterprises to be more efficient and their products – more competitive, "- he said.
According to Arthur Heruvimov, about a third of UOP governing body is involved in different programs of business schools from simple ones to MBA. Management and specialists of UOP plants, as well as senior management, are engaged in training programs.
"Everyone understands that we can achieve maximum industry efficiency due to business education ", – he said.
In 2016 UKROBORONPROM headed the transition to high-tech manufacturing, international standards (NATO) and supplying the army with modern types of armaments.
